Class Descriptions

Littlest Ones (ages 2-3): Our new Littlest Ones program allows young children the opportunity to explore creative movement through stories, music, and playful interaction with a parent or guardian. *Contact us for more information about class times and sessions*

Ballet/Tap Combo (ages 4-5): In 4-5 level classes students will be introduced to the excitement of dance class. Students become familiar with the primary fundamentals of ballet and tap dancing, and even do a bit of tumbling while having fun and playing educational games in a nurturing environment.

Ballet/Tap Combo (ages 6-7): In 6-7 level classes students will learn and build on the fundamentals of ballet and tap dance technique. Students will learn beginner level ballet and tap steps and terminology while becoming accustomed to the structure of a dance class through traditional instruction as well as educational games.

Level B (ages 8-9) Ballet; Tap/Jazz: In Level B classes students will continue to build on their dance training by learning longer combinations and intermediate movements. At this level, ballet and tap/jazz are separated into two classes to allow the students extra time to learn, practice, and ask questions about the new dance steps they learn. Jazz is offered in combination with tap to allow dancers to experience a new, fun and energetic dance style.

Level C (ages 10+) Ballet; Tap/Jazz: In Level C classes students continue to add new steps to their
repertoire and begin to polish their previously learned skills. While maintaining proper technique, the focus of instruction opens to include the presentation and performance of the movement.

Level D (ages 13+) Ballet; Tap, Jazz: Level D classes are geared toward advanced dancers with an existing knowledge of dance technique and terminology. This level emphasizes challenging combinations and performance skills while aiming to help the students master and enjoy dance as an art form.

Teen/Adult Tap; Ballet; Jazz: In Teen/Adult classes students will learn the proper technique and terminology in a mature and fun environment. These classes are geared toward older dancers of all levels who enjoy dance as an art form as well as a form of exercise.
